Millbrook Healthcare receive 400th van from Charters Peugeot

Charters Peugeot of Aldershot have supplied Millbrook Healthcare with a fleet of 400 models of Peugeot Commercials.

Recently Charters Peugeot provided Millbrook Healthcare with 27 new Peugeot Vans (including Boxer 435 models, Expert medium commercials and a Luton-bodied Boxer bringing their total to 400.

Used for delivering and collecting community equipment on behalf of local authorities and the NHS, the Millbrook Healthcare fleet will be taking care of essential work in the community. Delivering over 800,000 items of equipment every year and 50,000 orders per month, it has been going for 70 years and much like Charters, is a staple of its local community. This equipment is used to assist in mobility and independence such as hoists, walking sticks, crutches and beds.

Each Peugeot van supplied by Charters is fitted with a selection of specialised equipment including load-are lining, access ramps and racking with conversion being carried out by Motor on Services.

With 30 sites across England from Cornwall to Kent, the 27 new vans will based near Exeter (Millbrook’s newest centre which opened in June).
