Assistant Sales Manager

OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative Assistant Sales Manager to join our Peugeot & Citroen team.

You will support the Sales Manager to drive a successful sales performance, developing strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and achieve sales targets. This is a vital role ensuring a positive team environment is created to achieve our goals.

DUTIES

• Assisting the Sales Manager in achieving objectives and targets for the business, and deputise in the absence of the Sales Manager.
• Support the sales team by providing training, motivation and guidance to achieve individual  and team targets.
• Engage with customers to ascertain their needs, resolve any issues and promote products/services effectively.
• Identify new business opportunities to ensure growth and assure customer engagement.
• Be proactive in marketing exercises to enhance each brand’s profile and visibility.
• Maintain customer database  and sales activities.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures and encourage a culture of excellence  within the team.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Clean full driving license essential.
• Previous experience in a sales or customer service environment is essential; motor industry experience in a supervisory role would be advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal & written with attention to detail, and building rapport with both customers and team alike.
• High level of proficiency in CRM software & Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to be self-motivated whilst also being able to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Be proactive in problem-solving in addition to having strong organisational skills.
• Must have a passion for delivering the very highest levels of customer service and achieving sales excellence.

Full time role

Remuneration: competitive salary dependent on experience
