On 26th September 2020, Peugeot will be 210 years old and with this iconic anniversary, a slew of celebrations, activities and offers will be unveiled to mark this landmark in automotive history.
Peugeot 404 (1960 – 1975)
Founded on 26th September 1810, Peugeot have been involved in everything from fashion, cars to bicycles.
Armand Peugeot (pictured) placed a cash deposit on this date (which you can still find a record of, through the Terre-Blanche Archives (Doubs).
Their automotive history has been unsurpassed by every single manufacturer in the world.
With modern Peugeots being the pinnacle of excellence, the automotive manufacturer is widely considered one of the most modern on the roads today with a total of six European Car of the Year Awards to its name (with the most recent one being the All-New 208.
Peugeot 205 (1983 – 1998)
To celebrate this important year, Peugeot have released a bespoke logo which was designed by the current team and will feature in all marketing from 26th September 2020.
The side-on lion proudly stands over the founding date in a simple black over white design.
With 210 years under its belt, Peugeot is always looking ahead to the years ahead. Always evolving and innovating, the brand has never rested on their laurels and continues to surprise us with design, technology and comfort developments released each and every year.
