Peugeot e-208 is to have longer range

Peugeot have just announced that the extremely popular Peugeot 208 will now be fitted with a more powerful and efficient powertrain, bringing in even better range.

After the release of the all-electric e-208, Peugeot continued to refine powertrain to attain a 6.5% increase in range (as of late 2021). Today we can reveal that through a new, efficient electric motor, the e-208 will provide up to 400km of range (that’s 248.5 miles).

Power and range improvements

You’ll be glad to know that it’s not just range that has been improved. The e-208 now will provide 115kW (156bhp) up from 100kW (136bhp) in the current model.

e-208 models will come with:

• A new 115kW motor with an additional 12kW hp and 260Nm of torque
• A new, more-efficient high-voltage battery
• A more impressive longer range

All of these changes occur without effective the storage, passenger space and design of the 208 you know and love. The New, longer range e-208 will arrive at our Aldershot dealership in early 2023.
