Now it has been confirmed that Charters Peugeot of Aldershot is to re-open 1st June 2020 (with the Sales Department available initially by appointment only), we’d like to highlight the changes we have made in response to this pandemic.
We have put together a collection of processes that ensure customer and staff safety and instead of reading them all, we urge you to view our video, filmed by Emily McQueen (Peugeot Brand Ambassador at Charters).
Protection for our sales customers
Our sales customers can visit us when they book an appointment from Monday 1st June. A sanitising station greets each customer. Please follow the signage on the floor; ensuring a 2-metre space between you and any other customer or staff member.
All vehicles are now locked (unless you request us to open them). Once opened to you, the seals are broken and we will re-sanitise the vehicle for the next inspection.
All sales desks have perspex screens ensuring customer and staff safety. Please ensure you are seated behind the yellow and black marks on the floor.
Our waiting area has been altered to ensure a 2-metre gap is between all seats.
If seeking a test drive then we will accompany a single test driver whilst a member of our team will be sat in the back of the vehicle and wearing a protective mask.
Protection for our aftersales customers
There are now two options if you are visiting our workshop:
Option 1: Leave the keys to your vehicle in our letterbox
Option 2: Come into our showroom, use our sanitising station (putting your keys in the bag provided), follow the floor arrows; keeping two metres apart. Follow the signs and wait until there is space. Ensure you keep behind all black and yellow marks on the floor. Perspex screens have been placed on all desk surfaces to ensure customers and staff remain safe.
Exiting the building via the sliding door which clearly marked out. This allows you to enter and exit the building whilst keeping a safe two-metre distance from others.
On 26th September 2020, Peugeot will be 210 years old and with this iconic anniversary, a slew of celebrations, activities and offers will be unveiled
COVID-19 safety measures

Vehicle owners granted six month MOT exemption
It has now been confirmed by the UK government that vehicles will not require an MOT (if expiring after 30th March 2020). This six-month exemption allows vital services to continue with essential travel.

Our thoughts are with those that have been affected by COVID-19. Our priority is to safeguard the health and wellbeing of our customers and staff.
